So maybe I’m psychotic, a touch eccentric, Oh! for shame..
I wonder what the world would do without the art of blame?
Such lovely little labels that we have for one and all,
and such silly little notions, who will rise and who will fall!
How do we pick a battle ground when everything’s a war,
if they win today, tomorrow, what then becomes the score?
So maybe I’m psychotic, wee delusions wrack my mind,
everyone is tarnished, some less cruel, and some less kind.
Somehow I can hear those words and smile, Oh! for shame..
someone’s got me cornered with a label yet again!
I wonder then, what they would do without the art of blame?
lost without those notions, all the labels and the games!
If no one’s there to catch your fall, you’ll never hit the ground!
There’s nothing at the bottom, yet you’re always looking down.
